I’m always on the look out for simple and easy explanations of marketing, branding etc. While I was reading up about Marty Neumeier,the author of ZAG, one of the books still on my ‘to read’ list, I saw that he posted a funny illustration on his blog. The illustration simplifies the relationship between the disciplines of marketing, telemarketing, public relations, advertising, graphic design and branding.
Even though the images are a bit of a joke, I can see a lot of truth in it’s simplicity.
Puma, one of the world’s leading sportlifestyle companies has designed an eco-friendly ‘clever little’ bag’.
They will stop using their traditional box and start selling their trainers in these new eco-friendly bags. According to their site their new packaging and distribution system will save more than 60% of paper and water annually. They will start using the new bag next year.
