Designer Andrew Seunghyun Kim has created a new packaging design for Coca Cola bottles.
The interesting thing about his new design is the fact that the bottles are square and 100% eco-friendly.
According the the designer’s website the new bottle has a 25% slimmer cap, is 27% more efficient, has a collapsable design, is 100% plant based and stackable.
Tjongolongo, I think this design is definitely worth considering for Coke. Maybe not to replace the classic Coca Cola bottle (immediately), but it’s worth considering for some of their other drinks.
I really think Coke shouldn’t let this one slide. If picked up correctly they’ve got a nice new way of putting themselves out there as an eco-friendly company. Could make for some interesting marketing campaigns!
